Trying to conceive

I have been on a vlcd diet for almost 3 months but now we have decided to try and get pregnant. I want advise on the best things to eat to give my body what it needs after lossing 35 llb and still being classed as overweight I would like to continue to stay the same and if possible lose a few llbs more until I am confirmed to be pregnant I'm cureentry 13 stone 12 llb iy will be my first pregnancy so any advice on sensible eating would be appreciated

    Make sure you take a prenatal vitamin for the folic acid if you are trying to conceive. It will prevent neural tube disorders in the baby.

    Were you under a doctor's care on the vlcd? If not, get a check up and blood work so you know if you have any deficiencies. Vlcd is very stressful on your body and messes with your hormones. I'd suggest a checkup with blood work and a referral to an RD. I'm no expert on fertility and Nutrition for pregnancy so I have no suggestions there.
