Weight loss after drug problem

I had a year long problem with drugs
Esp stimulants and smoking
I quit everything and moved onto seretonin which drastically increased my appetite and I'm sure slowed down my metabolism. Which added to my already increased desire to eat and make up for a period of starvation.
Only this is I'm left with a two stone weight gain!
Quite a problem for me as I'm used to being small.
I'm very uncomfortable with the gain as I have a petite frame and it doesn't at all suit me.
Is there a way to lose weight quickly and effectively baring in mind my previous issues?
Thank you

Quick weight loss is not a good plan for you. Use the app, set your goal to lose half a pound per week, track your food and hit your calorie goal, do some exercise you enjoy.4

I started this general dieting around a month ago
I've seen small results
But I am up for a challenge
I would appreciate pushing myself as I have a tendency to fall out of routines
I am interested in more zero calories alkaline diets and cleansing
Not only am I heavier but I generally feel bloated7 -
My clothes are not fitting as well
I really don't fancy buying new clothes etc
I need to make a difference
I'm allowing myself half a year to get back to my normal weight
But I'm trying not to watch the scales
Just wanna see a less podgy figure I wanna cut some fat
People body build and can make amazing changes
I am dedicated and I have three month with no work commitments
This is when I wanna do some intensive training
It's been 7 months since the drug problem and I'm sure I can make some good changes in 3 months
My body has had time to recover and I'm fully ready

As mentioned, enter your stats in MFP and follow the calorie goal.
Don't bother with fads and cleanses. Essentially, it sounds like you need to learn how to eat properly with correct portion sizes. Going on fad diets will not teach you that, and you will be right back to square one once you go back to eating normally.2 -

Zero calorie items do not exist except when it comes to some diet drinks. Calories are important, they ensure your body and brain function. Alkaline diets and cleanses are made up by the diet industry to steal your money. They are worthless and some are actually harmful. You cannot change the pH of your body, your body cleanse itself.
If you are bloated focus on lowering your sodium and ensuring you drink adequate water. Consider cutting out dairy if those don't work.
To me it sounds like you are looking to turn your addiction from drugs into an addiction to health. Orthorexia is a serious problem and can be just as damaging as drugs. If you don't have professional help it is very important to seek help now.6 -

I battled alcoholism for 10 years and then food became my drug when I got sober, my advice is use the app. Make healthier choices. It's going to be hard at first especially if food is a comfort. But simple swaps can help. I also take sertaline for anxiety, exercise will help TREMENDOUSLY with mental health and will aid in your medication working. Feel free to add me as a friend for support5 -
Do you guys think medication or hypnosis could help with eating disorders?
I swing between under and over eating
I am logging my food but do better when I write it down so I've been doing that lately
I heard simply skipping with a rope is a pretty cost effective way to burn excess calories also
I have a pretty weak body because of my self abuse
Thanks for the help guys0
