In the past 12 days, I have gained 0.7 lbs, but I've lost 0.4% body fat. I know the weight is likely due to a new and more accurate scale, but this is getting ridiculous! I tend to go over on sodium a few days a week, but I drink plenty of water so I don't know... My measurements have also been stuck for 3-4 weeks. :grumble: In the past six weeks, I've gone from ZERO exercise to 5-6 days a week (C25K, Zumba, strength training, walking...).

I hear yeah! You get stuck and wonder wtf. I have lost 7lbs prior to joining. I have been stuck at the same weight now for about 3 to 4 weeks. I drink at least 5 glasses of water. TRY to eat better and workout at least 4 times a week. You have done SO WELL so far so don't give up!!! your building muscle and less body fat is always great!0

Remember the scale is just another tool - not the end all be all (although I do believe most of us - including me - feel that it is
) Don't let that scale discourage you. It sounds as if you lost body fat and you are probably building up some muscle. I know when I start an intensive exercise routine it usually takes me about two weeks to see weight come off. Remember according to scales if you build a pound of muscle and lose a pound of fat - you haven't lost anything. You know you are doing a good job. Just hang in there - and if need be - stick you tongue out at that stupid scale
Also try to lower your sodium intake.

Could it be possible that you are losing fat but gaining muscle due to strength training and that could be responsible for the # on the scale not being what you expect? Keep it it, you are doing great!0

If you've gone down in body fat percentage, then I think you're gaining muscle.....sit tight, I think you should start seeing decrease soon.0
