Hey everyone, my name is Brooke, I live in South Dakota in a small town. I'm new here and I'm trying to lose baby weight. I have a son and he is now a one year old!

I also am 180 pounds, I'm trying to lose pregnancy weight. After having my son I still have extra fat and skin. I do a workout video but jumping jacks are too hard on me, advise would be great! Add/ message me if you want!

I can tell you what worked for me. Used MFP to track and manage my calories. Used a cheap exercise bike (nothing special, maybe $70 but can find them at yard sales even cheaper) 6 days a week for 30 minutes a day. Of course how intensely you workout will make a difference. Took about 18 months but I lost 65 lbs. Have kept that off for about 6 years now. My best advice is to be honest with yourself and log/track your calories/exercise as accurately as possible. I weighed maybe every other day while I was losing weight, now I may weigh once every week or two.

Consistency over time is key. Most people (myself included) can't lose 20 pounds a month. It takes time. Also, I never have had a gym membership. It doesn't have to be expensive.
