Plateau! Help!

Hi, I've been try to lose weight for the past year on and off and overall I've lost 8.5kg. I'm now at 70kg and the scale won't budge and my measurements haven't changed. (Even though I look smaller). This has been going on for 5 weeks. I've done refeeds, cycled my calories, changed my workout routine, started drinking 3 litres of water a day and now I've upped my calories from 1830 to 2100 to see if that causes the scale to budge. Advice is well appreciated! Xx

My interpretation of what you have written is you have tried all these in the past 5 weeks, which makes me think you have not given any one tactic enough time to properly guage if it is working.
Also, can you share some information about your stats (sex, age, activity level) and goals.

Maybe I think I'm just trying to throw loads of things at my body to see if anything will restart the weight loss.
I'm 5.6, female, 22% bodyfat. I do 5 weight training sessions a week, 1 HIIT workout, and 2 LIST(walking for an hour outside). So I'm pretty average I have the Fitbit HR 2 and on average I burn around 2500 calories. I'm at 70kg right now and ideally I'd like to be at 65kg. Granted these are vanity pounds but I've built quite a bit of muscle over the last few months and I want them to be a bit more defined by losing those remaining pounds
Any help you could give would be great!

Be honest.........................how CONSISTENT are you day in and day out? If you're fudging your intake on a regular basis, don't expect results. And you also have to stick to a regimen for at least a month to see if there is enough of an effect. Switching week in and week out is INCONSISTENT.

Yeh I did reset it and it gave me 1830 calories to eat but I gained a pound and the scale wouldn't budge. I did some research and Jillian Michaels said I should up calories and shouldn't be in a deficit of more than 500 calories because my body doesn't see these pounds as necessary to lose and it's holding on to it because it's in starvation mode.2 -

Starvation mode isn't a thing. If it were, there wouldn't be anorexia.
If you are truly weighing EVERYTHING, and logging EVERYTHING, with no cheats, slips or forgetting, you are going to have to eat fewer calories.3 -
It took me longer to lose the last 10lbs than it did to lose the first 20!
Precise logging is needed when this close to goal weight.1 -
I agree with the idea of not being in a deficit over 500 calories for your current 10 lb loss goal. I disagree with the theory of starvation mode that is typically presented but I dont think thats something we really need to argue over at this point.
Are you getting your calorie estimates from your fitbit HR? (I assume the HR means its a heart rate model) I have been using a fitbit one for several years and found it to be pretty accurate in calorie estimates. I recently have been trying out a garmin model that contains a hr sensor and was appalled at the rediculously high calorie estimates it gave me. Looking at some of the reviews fitbit hr models seems to be fiving similarly high calorie estimates. This could be part of the problem.0 -
I stopped lifting weights for two weeks while I painted my house and broke my plateau. You could also play with your macros.0
