Yucky! Best of luck to you all out there, that would drive my asthma crazy.

The British Columbia wildfires are sending smoky air all the way to Alberta. Asthmatics take shelter.

It's ok to skip a workout sometimes.

I'm calling it a mother nature enforced rest week. It's been here a few days, everybody in the state is waiting for it to move on.

Alberta here. Been taking it easy outside as much as possible and allowing extra rest while training inside. So far so good, although the red moon is really freaky

Our Edmonton (Alberta) air quality was horrid for about a week - couldn't do anything outside. Wasn't too bad inside the gym but just going to/from was awful. At least my house got the TLC it deserved while I was stuck inside! Here's hoping everyone gets clear air soon. Xx

I'm in Victoria, Vancouver Is, BC.
It has been dead still, heavy smoke, and 34c, for 3 days. The only thing I have managed to do is keep my garden watered- and myself.
Not a cat in hell's chance of exercising.

We have had brilliant red sunrises and sunsets, just a shame they were caused by the wildfire smoke drifts.

    Cheers, h.

I did a very slow ride today, spent the whole time breathing through my nose trying to minimize exposure to the air. It's a little better today, you still can't see the mountains on either side of the city but you can see across the lake.

@NorthCascades, usually I can see the Olympic mountains in Washington state from my kitchen window, and Mt Baker from just down the road. Right now they could be on vacation in the Himalayas for all I can see.

    Ride safe, h.

Yesterday was better but it seems to be moving back in this morning. To the pool for me!

Guess that's mother nature's way of decided you need a rest week. Hope everything clears up soon enough though.
