Just got back from checking my po box mail, and getting some coffee, early.
As I drove down the street I noticed a person laying on the sidewalk. I pulled over quick, grabbed my ph, ran up to the person. It was a lady laying there. I called 911 immediately. Face planted on sidewalk, blood on her face, her hands, urinated on herself. Plastic cup also on sidewalk.
The ambulance was there in 2 minutes. She could say her name, and how old she was. Here comes 3 other people. One of them knew her. Said they were family. Stated her medical issues. He went and got her medical cards. And they took her to the hospital, without sirens on. She has the same first name as mine. And close to my age.
When I pulled up to get my coffee, and they asked me about my day so far, who'd think by 6:45 am, it would have been this action packed.
I insisted that I pay for my coffee. They insisted that it was on the house.

Omg that's intense! Hope she'll be okay! Good thing you were there.
    Thank you.
Not fun for her, & adrenaline rush for me that's for sure. I'm glad I found her, and was able to call 911 for her. The other 3 people would have found her, although I found her and called right before they arrived.

Family reunion on my wife's side. There's a water park here. Some of the kids wanted to go. I "reluctantly volunteered" to take them.

Short answer is laying out by the pool

I just left a water park! Now I'm walking behind a group of fit women admiring their well-rounded.. workout routines.

Similar type of thing. A few weeks ago, I woke to find this gentleman in my front yard.

I asked my wife (being that this is Scottsdale): "Is this some kind of modern art installation or is there some dude passed out on our property?"

(you can see my dog and TrophyWife's ankles at the top of the photograph)

    35rwgbtvifw2.jpg

He looked like he was still alive (he was) but we didn't know if he was drunk, dangerous or what.

Anyway, TrophyWife called the PoPo and they show up. Turns out the guy was at a party just down the street and got into an argument with his girlfriend or wife (maybe both, dunno) and did the smart thing... he walked away and fell asleep on my property.

So Scottsdale's finest arrive and wake him. He ( the drunk, not the cop) was apologetic and still a bit dazed. He was also surprised and embarrassed that he slept on the curb.

The officer asked me: "Do you want to press charges??"

    "Huh? pffft...for what ?"

"He's technically trespassing on your property."

"I think he's technically hungover. Instead of pressing charges, why don't I give him a cold Gatorade?"

30 minutes later, I went to the gym and saw him walking south on Scottsdale Rd.

In his defense, sometimes you just need to rest when you're bombed.

yeah, he said he just sat down to rest and six hours later a cop was waking him up.

    no harm / no foul

he walked away from an argument with a woman; smart move on his part, right?

he seemed like a pretty decent guy.....

That was heroic of you to help her , I hope she will be ok

    hdrcrdhhprbl.gif

I hope she will be ok too. And thank you. I think anyone would have pulled over and called 911 to help. It's not a hard thing, except for it puts you in panic mode, and gets your heart pumping. She wasn't just a drunk person. Did not look as comfy cozy as mr motorsheens guy in his picture. And I did not take a picture of her.
I didn't think to do that, I was busy talking to, and answering 911's questions.
