I want to lose at least a stone before I audition for drama schools in November, do you think it's possible to lose a stone in 3 months? What would be the best way to achieve this? Thank you!

What are your stats - age, current weight, height?0

depends how much you have to lose...depends on your stats...depends on your calorie deficit - only "tip" is to eat at a calorie deficit and think longer term than an audition in November.3

Without knowing your measurements I'll say yes, it is possible. Just cut a leg off.3

You want to lose 42lbs in in 3 months or average of 14 lbs a month. Wow.
You are currently 151.6 lbs? You want to go down to 109? In just 3 months?0 -
She wants to lose 14lbs over 3 months.1

14 lbs/24 weeks = 0.6/week and should be quite achievable. IMO. But I'm taller and a man and am further from my goal, but even at that it seems like quite a reasonable goal.3

I always get a kick out of the stone thing. Whole lotta Rosie and all that. I thought everyone but us backwards US people were metric now?0

A stone is equivalent to 14 lbs...right? @TheWJordinWJordin Where are you getting your numbers.
OP I am not sure what 10 11.6 is, your weight?3 -

10 stone 11.6 pounds so 151.6 pounds, as a stone is indeed 14 pounds.2 -

Based on your stats you probably only want to be aiming for 0.5-1lb weight loss per week (as you're an overweight BMI, not obese and don't have a great deal to lose to get into a healthy range). You should be able to lose 7-12lbs in that amount of time maybe more if you have a big water weight drop at the beginning. Set up your MFP account for that rate of loss, eat a balanced diet, stick to your calorie allowance and try to increase your activity level.
Incorporate some strength training into your routine if you can and that will help maintain your muscle whilst you are losing fat and you will likely see your measurements drop down even if you don't see the results you are expecting on the scale.2 -
Sorry, I left the units off my conversion but it works out to about 0.6 LBS/week.0

Yeah, a stone is 14lb so that should be doable by November if you stick to a sensible deficit. I think she is probably 10 stone 11.6 (151.6 lb)?1

10 stone 11.6 pounds so 151.6 pounds, as a stone is indeed 14 pounds.
Ahh that makes sense, thank you for the clarification.
1 stone is doable in 3 months. Agree with @maryjaquiss .... stick to a sensible deficit and make sure you properly measure and log all food and drinks. Good luck!!0 -

42lbs? lol
OP, id say its absolutely possible to lose a stone in 3 months. Consistent calorie deficit aiming for around 1lb per week loss shouldn't see you far away from your goal0 -
OP of I were you I'd set MFP to lose 1 lb per week and go from there0
