Hi, just wondering how and when everyone with a themselves.
I've bought new scales but not sure if their accurate as I've been weighing a few times a day. (Morning n evening, well every time I walk past them)

The best time to weigh yourself is upon waking up after going to the bathroom. For most people, their weight is the highest at the end of their day after they've consumed most of their food/drinks. I can weigh in at 114 in the morning and 120 at the end of the night on a higher intake day. By the morning I'm back down.3

For me, I try not to weigh myself more than once a week. It's easy to get discouraged.1

I never weigh throughout the day. Weight goes up during the day after eating. I weigh every morning but I only count my weigh in once per week on Mondays. I weigh early before eating that day and in the same clothes each week (usually my PJs).0

Every morning but I only update my weight on here on a Sunday.1 -
Your weight fluctuates throughout the day as you have established. Weigh once a day in the morning before eating or drinking. Then move the scales out of sight to avoid temptation. You'll also fluctuate from day to day.1

I weigh myself once a day- in the morning after I wake up and use the bathroom. I've tried to cut back to once a week, but that didn't work out so well0

Every morning, when I'm getting dressed. I only log it weekly, But I feel like daily weigh ins keep me focused. Helps me readjust if it starts creeping up too, I'm losing 2lbs a week so it usually goes down every day. If it doesnt, I make a point to have a lighter dinner or drink more water etc1

Seriously, it's crazy to me that I can weigh myself a few minutes after waking up, go to the bathroom, and not eat or drink anything, and a couple hours later be several ounces, if not a whole pound heavier. It shouldn't be physically possible, yet it happens all the time, with different scales.1

I weigh myself first thing in the morning, naked, after using the toilet. I usually weigh myself every few days, and I will put my weight into Libra (Android app) to track my progress. I've become pretty good at predicting my weigh-ins based on what I ate the previous day (more salt = water weight, etc), so fluctuations don't bother me much.1

i weigh every day and log-it into MFP. i love seeing the graph (on the app) it goes up and down a bit, but overall a very downward turn. makes me happy to see progress, and to know that weight fluctuates naturally.
