Heyy,
So I've struggled with Bulimia since I was around 12-13trd old and I'm tutning 21 this year... Depressing.
I've been diagnosed with severe depression and am generally fed up with ruining my body and life. Is anybody in the same boat?
I'm 4'11 and weighed in the morning at 112.2Lbs and am looking to get to 100 Lbs. I've always been vegan and try not to eat refined sugar, had it for he first time a couple of months ago and that made me b&p like absolute mad.
Anyway, I'm looking to connect with other people who have/are gone/going through similar things so that we can motivate and support each other

You have a healthy weight. Don't mess with it until you get your head straight. If you are not currently in therapy, please get a therapist. If you are, you need to talk these feelings over with that therapist. They can advise you and help you set up a team of a nutritionist and physical therapist familiar with eating disorders. That team can determine a plan for your eating, exercise and mental well - being.
Aiming for weight loss while still actively fighting an eating disorder and being currently a healthy weight is a dangerous thing. You're feeding your demons. Don't feed the demons.21 -
Considering your ED history it would be irresponsible for anyone here to offer you anything beyond extremely basic support. Even then, it shouldn't be support in you achieving weight loss as that area is a slippery slope in your case. Connecting with people going through similar has the potential to be triggering as well. What @tomteboda has written covers all of it. I truly wish you the best of luck in getting past all of this, but beyond your family and friends, most of your support should come from a treatment team/therapist.12

I was anorexic and have a tendency to fall back into that mindset when losing weight. Feel free to add me1

I feel your pain. I was bulimic from the time I was 12 until 28, on and off. Even now, ten years later, I still feel the pull when I'm on a "diet" and it took many, many years to feel ok in my skin. At my worst at 28, I went to the doctor and requested Luvox, a med that reduced my impulse to purge. That helped me break the cycle. When you start to feel more in control of other areas of your life, bulimia won't be as prevalent. Find a good doctor.8

I'm in recovery, too. (Does recovery ever end, really??) When I decided to try to lose weight, I planned it ahead of time with a therapist and dietician. You really can't be too careful.7

Recovery is a long road. I have always struggled with depression, and I was anorexic when I was 13. In my 20s, I periodically tried to lose weight in a healthy way, but always wound up triggering major eating disorder thoughts and behaviors and had to stop.
I'm now 35, and only just now have I healed enough to be able to track calories without obsessing, judging myself, or harming myself. I just bought a scale for the first time in my life, and I'm very nervous and cautious about how I will handle tracking my weight. I'm very much on guard in case the old thoughts come back.
I agree with other posters that you really need to talk to your doctor and therapist. Please take care of yourself.4 -
112 is really a perfect weight for your height; I'd work on therapy, body positivity, and (if you wish) fitness and forget about the scale if I were you. Easier said than done, I know! I wish you luck!2
