    Another Austinite here. :happy: I live on the north side and work in Round Rock. I love the city and it does have some wonderful food.

    born and raised in San antonio texas, went back for a short vacation, ate a few tacos, saw how easy it was to get fat/over weight there. hubby and I celebrated our 1 yr on the rivierwalk, nice there, but a pain to drive. takes 45 mins to get any where, def like my small town in ky a lot better.

    God I miss Texas - Born in Denton, grew up in Ft. Worth, lived in Dallas and Plano until my 30s... :sigh: Oh well - I'm here in Iowa for my babies (i'll just repeat that until I can make it through my day lol)

    Yea, McAllen! I lived there for 10 years. I love the Valley! I still have lots of good friends there.

    No kidding. I love it here like a smaller version of Houston.
