30 Day Shred

I am sure this has been asked before but I just finished day 4 of 30 day shred - I also work out 6 days a week with a trainer - but I just don't feel that I am developing any stamina - I know 4 days isn't long but I still find myself struggling through the entire workout and needing to rest. I figured with my workout schedule it won't be this tough for me. Has anyone else had/having this issue?? Also all the jumping gives me AWFUL shin splints - UGH! I am going to keep pushing through but thinking this may not be the best workout video for me.

Any thoughts are appreciated!

I haven't heard of the 30 day shred but it sounds like your kicking butt! Shin splints SUCK! I've had those too. A day of rest can't hurt but still do a little bit of moving. Your off to a great start! I work out 4 days a week with my trainer and the rest on my own. My body for sure feels it. I always take a day off. Tell me more of this 30 day shred please!
  • I tone down the jump-rope by jumping from one foot to the other. The jumping is really bad for my knee (I have chronic bursitis). I'm on day 7 of level 1 and it's still REALLY freaking hard, so you're not alone.

I am on day9 level 1 with 1 rest day due to knee pain. Honestly, I haven't really followed the video to a T. I have modified mine. I can't do that arm thing with side lunges. But i do as much as I can and just modify the arm movement.

So you are not alone. But the good news is I have lost 4 lbs doing 30day shred alone + watching what I eat.

Haven't started the 30DS i still need to buy it (my mom and I are doing it together so I'm waiting for her), but I work out and you just need to keep going at it it takes a while to build endurance. I'm sure once you do 2 full weeks of it it will get better, I know it's a bit different than what trainers do at my gym. Basically, best way to build more stamina is to keep at it and encourage yourself that you're not giving up!
