Does anyone else log on MFP to avoid mindless late night eating?

I'm doing that now! I was actually just looking through the success stories and thinking "wow...I REALLY can do this!"

I was talking to my mom the other day and told her about this and she was very....not supportive. There is over weight issues on both sides of my family. To my sister, this means "give up". To me, this says, "work harder". I refuse to back down. I lost 4 pounds last week (WOOT!). I know I won't always lose that much, my body will balance itself out, but this is promising.

Ok, the most horrible thing on the planet...i just looked at a FULL BODY picture of me from my company christmas party last year. Oh that just upset me to no end. Even the fact that my ex was in the picture doesn't bother me. It's how I look. Sometimes that makes me want to vomit. How could I let myself go?

The positive in this is that I am here, I have support, and I am thankful for each one of you because I know I can do this the healthy way and I'll look TONS better at this year's Christmas party!

Your doing great, just listen to the positive voice of God to build you up! Good job taking this on as a challenge!

Oh, and yes, I always check in before bed, just to remind me of why I started this journey.
