Hi All,

As I progress in losing weight, does MFP automatically adjust my daily calories needed to lose weight, or do I have to go in and adjust automatically? I recently started dieting/lifestyle change two weeks ago and am curious.

Stats:
SW: 154
CW: 152.6
GW: 140
Height: 5'9"

Thank you!

I'd do every 5 lbs or so. But as you're asking after 2.5 lbs and don't have a lot to lose, it doesn't hurt to adjust at this point.

Just be aware that if you've changed your default macros, they will reset back to the defaults once you change you goals and will need to be adjusted again. So if you bumped your protein up, you have to do it again.

this is good advice. I would wait until you hit a stall to lower your calories, you don't want to drop too many too fast.
