Diary shame

I just logged in my shame. I had an entire platter of honey chipotle crispers (bout 14/15 pieces in a platter) from Chili's.

At least you logged it! Move a little more tomorrow and move on!2

Did you like them? Tough to tell from your diary what you're up to, its a bit all over the place this past week. Maybe it would help you to talk out what you're trying to accomplish. Also, what led you to pick this food? Was this spur-of-the-moment or planned in advance? Anyways, don't beat yourself up. Each day is a chance to meet your goals, pick it up tomorrow and feel great by the end if you can pass on Chili's.4

Yep, can't un-eat it, so don't let it cripple you. Just work on damage control tomorrow. Takes courage to face the music.1 -
I see a few days ago you went to chick-fil-a and got a salad. So you must be some kind of saint!!! Don't beat yourself up.1

Your food diary isn't King's Landing and you're not Cersei. Food is morally neutral. Enjoy your food and allow yourself to enjoy it. Shame will only make you overeat.3

You logged it. No shame there!2

^This.
I had a terrible problem with disinhibited eating, and one of the things that got me past the shame part was logging everything. It also helped curb the behavior to the point where the episodes have now become maintenance days rather than 3000-4000 calorie blow outs.1 -
Sounds delicious! enjoy, log, and move on.0

Food diaries are data. Information. No more than that. Even if all it does is startle us with the amount of calories/carbs/fat in a particular dish, then it's a very functional lesson in choosing what or how much to eat next time.3

No shame. It's just food - not like you were out torturing kittens or something.2
