tattoo/weight loss question
i realize this probably seems like a very... random subject but i dont really know where to ask this question so i figure on this whole site, there must be some people who can help......
i want to get a tattoo, but am looking to get it on a part of my body with a lower fat ratio. my goal is to lose 90 pounds and ive lost 10 so far, so i know that if i meet my goal, a lot will change. however, i don't really want to weight ages to get a tattoo.
i want something small, and was wondering if anyone had any advice on where is a good place on your body that won't change that much, or if anyone can tell me how much tattoos really will change during weightloss?
thanks!

Hi,
I got 2 larger tattooes on my shoulder blades. I got one (right side) in 1996 and the other one (left side) in 2010.
The one from 1996 (head from my dog) did not get larger with me and the other one did not shrunk with me. They still look fine and how they should look.
So I think this is a good position.
When I went to my tattoo studio to get the tatts I asked the same question and he said:
Shoulderblades and back of the foot. He also said 2 other parts of the body but I do not remember anymore.
To be sure ask your question in the studio they will help you.0 -
I've lost 4 stone and it had zero effect on my tattoos0

It depends on your body which part is go to be most affected by weight loss.
This piece on my side has been largely unaffected by 25kg+ gain during pregnancy (x2) and 15kg rapid weight loss and gain over about 18 yrs:
This sleeve remains intact after 15kg gain/loss:
........
Even a small tattoo in the 'wrong' spot can be ruined by weight gain/loss.
I suggest talking to your tattooer about placement.

thanks so much for the replies! ill definitely be sure to ask! i dont plan on getting in places i know are fatty (ie, my stomach, thighs, stuff like that...) but theres areas like my wrists? that i know are a little fatty but not as much as like, my upper arms by comparison. so i'll ask the tattooer and keep everything in mind, thanks!0
