    how many here look at themselves totally naked to judge how well your fitness is going?
    Do you think this is good way to see the whole prospective?

      The way you look in the mirror doesn't necessarily reflect your fitness level. That said, most people with a good level of fitness will look the part...but I know a couple of overweight cyclists who can out fit me on a bike any day of the week. I also know lean/skinny people who have virtually no fitness at all.

      I judge my fitness by my capabilities.

      It's not the ONLY way I judge, but sure, it plays a part.

      But then, my fitness goals are largely motivated by pure vanity. I admire those who aren't so shallow.

      Although nakedness in the weight room is generally frowned upon.

      I misread and just automatically read "locker room"...I'd say most people frown on just walking around the locker room naked too, but a lot of old dudes do...I give them a pass...they're old and paid their dues and don't give a damn anymore.

      He probably meant the locker room. For men, there's always ALWAYS one old guy butt naked blow drying his balls. I've heard so many horror stories.

      I totally look at myself naked and judge...not my fitness level tho!
