Females with 50+ lbs loss with Hasimotos

Looking for advice from any women who are hypothyroid and have had success losing weight. Was there any foods you did or did not eat? What was your daily calorie intake? Did you eat more or less then the suggested daily amount? Did you cut back on certain foods like dairy and wheat? What helped you be successful?

    I have hypo due to thyroid cancer and no thyroid. I've found that drs are not very helpful (at least so far) and that low carb works the best for me.
    I do better with under 1300 calories but if I exercise sometimes can eat 1400-1500.
