What do you have to eat for your biggest meal of the day? How many cals/carbs/protein do you eat at your biggest meal?

usually it's breakfast. I'm just so hungry that time of day. I but i spread it out without calling it lunch. I have a bowl of cereal about 6:30, then when I get to work at 8 I'm pretty hungry again and have some greek yogurt, then about an hour later I have a fiber one bar. It totals about 500-600 calories by that time. Then about three hours later, I have lunch that is about 350 calories.

I don't eat big meals. I spread mine into 5 small meals that include carbs, protein and fat in each one. They average about 300 calories per meal. Doing this keeps your energy up, boosts your metabolism, stops the crashes, and helps in losing weight.

Doing this ... boosts your metabolism, stops the crashes, and helps in losing weight.

Not true in the slightest btw.

Dinner is my largest meal, normally around 700-800 cals.

Dinner so that I can make meals that work for my very thin son and my medium weight daughter. Typically, I'll make chicken and salad, and make rice or pasta as an extra for my son. I plan out dinner early enough in the day so that I can divide the rest of the calories for the other meals and snacks.

I have a protein shake when I get up first thing and then breakfast is my biggest meal when I get to work which is 7am. If I don't eat a big breakfast I am hungry all day long and can't seem to get enough to eat also If I don't have egg whites as part of my breakfast I am hungry right away.

You mean you agree it appears to work for you? It makes no difference how often a person eats, not in the slightest, if you have self control not to snack. If you have the same calorie intake a day, it doesnt matter when you eat those calories. It certainly does not boost your metabolism.

Dinner is always my biggest meal of the day as far as most calories goes. As far as carbs and so forth it really just depends on what we have for dinner.

exactly. it doesnt matter if you have 30 meals or 1. you just have to eat under maintenance.

Have my biggest meal of the day at midday. Usually around 600 to 700 calories. Since I am trying to stay at 1200 my breakfast and supper meals are very small. I do my main exercise workout early in the morning 7:00 AM, have a light breakfast about an hour later, eat my main meal around 1 - 2 PM then have a light snack about 6:30 PM. Seems to work best for me. I sleep much better than if I have a large meal in the evening. I am retired so it is not a problem.

I know it would be better to eat a big meal at lunch but because of work dinner is my biggest meal and bulk of my calories. For breakfast I do Greek yogurt and a piece of fruit with Tea. Lunch is almost always a Greens+ Protein bar. I wish I could eat real food for lunch but Greens+ bars seem like a good relatively organic alternative. Dinner is usually around 800 calories of whatever protein and carb I decide.

    Usually lunch, actually.
It's around 300-500 cals with tons of protein and a lot of carbohydrates haha!
Sometimes, if I realize I have over 700 cals and it's 4pm, I will snack on high-cal, high-fat foods so sometimes dinner ends up being 600 or so.
