Recent rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis

Hey guys ,
I used to be super active...gym 5-6 days a week , lifting and cardio . I think I pushed myself too much . I was always achy and in pain . finally figured that out at the doctor with the RA diagnosis. She had me switch up my diet and just for two-theee weeks I've kind of taken an exercise break. I still walk a ton but I cut out most my lifting and heavy cardio, switched to yoga...80% of pain gone just taking it easy . The diet part is rough on me and I was trying to build muscle before but now I am almost afraid to go back to what I was doing before because I don't want my pain to come back. I was so tired
I guess this was more of a giant whine post than anything. Some days I'm frustrated because I feel broken at 25 (I have a bad wrist and foot now from injured joints that never could heal properly). Figured it would be good to have some friends that understand and know how to find that balance

My doctor misdiagnosed me with RA.
After i decided to quit all my supplements, pain went away. I added one supplement a week back into my diet and found that a certain creatine binded with Magnesium was causing all this inflamation and pain.
Pain is not easy to deal with, what you are doing, staying active is great to reduce the pain!

I was also diagnosed with RA last week. In the past I felt achy and tired after I worked out. (Days after) I also had days that my joints hurt and was tired all the time. I am going through the process of eating gluten free per doctor orders. I also started to take an antinflamation prescription that has reduced the swelling in my joints. Sending you a friend request1

My Husband is 38 and we are scheduled with a RA specialist on Wednesday, thinking he might be diagnosed with RA. He has been a perfectly healthy fit man, with a resting HR of a conditioned athlete (34 bpm) until about a month ago, he woke up with severe edema around ankle joints that has yet, subsided . Very scary! Stay strong!0 -
You being so young, my heart aches for you. I pray you find that balance. I have a friend on here with extremely painful arthritis. She manages it by going pretty much carb free. Sugar is such an inflammatory agent. This lady eats lean proteins, fats and a few salad greens. And she is able to walk again! I wish you the best. Don't give up.0

I hope your husband gets some relief. I too, have always had a low resting heart rate. Recently, I developed pain in my side and discovered I had fluid buildup around my heart. The diagnosis was cardiomyopathy, or a weak heart muscle, which was also the reason my heart rate was slow. Slow heart rate, plus fluid buildup may be a related to heart function, so make sure that they check his heart as well. Hope he has a good outcome. I know health problems are scary!0
