Introduction from a Highly Motivated Person

I am not certain where to post if we are new, but here it goes. My husband had a serious stroke 4 years ago which left him half paralyzed and I quit running and watching my food carefully. I finally weighed myself, knowing that I had gained weight because NONE of my clothes were fitting and I did not feel comfortable in this body. Long story short, I gained 21 pounds and must lose it because I can not afford to buy a new wardrobe. I have 3 dogs, so tons of walking and running far more will happen since it is not wise to take 3 at a time. Let's get this done......counting calories really does help because it does not take long for 500 to fly by, esp. if you are honest with yourself and keep track of EVERYTHING!
