Hi I am 50 years old and have gone with out a period for 11 months and 2 weeks. The wham yesterday I got my period. It started out very light in the morning ,but by night fall was full blown. 24 hours later I am having small clots. Is this normal ?

Why not ask your doctor or, more specifically, your gynecologist?2

I am also 50. I suggest speaking to your physician. This also happens to me and it's just... *gasp*... peri-menopause. Hot flashes are next1

Thank you. The hot flashes are already here. My ob gave me a couple otc meds,but they seem to make them worse. I am just so over this !!0
