I have fifty pounds to lose and I'm an extremely picky eater so I've had a very hard time dieting. I set my calorie goal at 1100 and I don't really have a weekly weight loss goal. But I was wondering what an efficient work out time would be. I've been working out 4 days a week for 30-45 minutes a day. Is that good or should I go more? I've lost 4 pounds already.

1. 1100 is really low. That may be a bit aggressive for long term results
2. What are your fitness goals? Muscle mass, endurance, body transformation. There's different workouts for different goals and level of fitness.0 -
What is your height, starting weight, gender?0

Eat 1200 minimum. Eat the foods you enjoy that fit into that amount. If you're comfortable with the exercises you're doing, don't change anything up.0

I think that the amount you are exercising is good! It's definitely a start.. How long have you been working out 4 days a week? If you are still feeling a challenge with your current workout "routine" I'd stick with it. Once you feel its getting a little easy you can add another day, harder workouts, more time, or whatever; so that you are constantly challenging your body.
Do you eat back the calories you burn with your workout?
I do agree with the others that you should set your calorie goal a bit higher. If you keep it too low for too long you could end up dealing with a lot of fatigue and possibly burn out. Believe me, I did. It took quite a while for me to recover too.
ETA: I workout roughly 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week.0
