I find I can really taste the protein powder when I add it to pancakes/brownies etc. Any tips for minimising the protein aftertaste?

Heat changes the powder somewhat. I suggest no-bake bites.

Or try PB2 as a protein source instead of whey.1 -
Just eat a real brownie. With a protein shake on the side.
(I convinced myself for a long time that my "alternative" bakes were a great substitute for the real thing. They aren't)4 -
Check to see what sweetener your powder uses. The "fake" ones tend to leave that aftertaste. They aren't meant to be heated, anyway. It changes their chemical composition. Usually the stevia-sweetened ones work better.1
