Hi everyone this is for the team captains for the Kickin the crap out of August Challenge.
Please post any questions you have here so I can address them globally. You are the ones who have made this happen.

Week One Team Challenges Please copy and paste into your team forums
AUGUST CHALLENGE WEEK 1
This is the week one team challenge. This should be done in addition to your normal workout routine.
This is a challenge and is not a replacement! If you need a beginner workout please contact your team
captain for ideas.
Week One Daily Exercise Challenge
Each team member that completes their daily exercise challenge receives one point, if all team
members complete each daily exercise for all 6 days the team is then awarded an additional 5 Bonus
Points.
Day 1 Exercise Challenge - 100 Jumping Jacks*(see below)
Day 2 Exercise Challenge – Walk, Run or Jog 1 Mile (extra)
Day 3 Exercise Challenge – 50 Situps or Ab Crunches*
Day 4 Exercise Challenge – 40 UP and Downs *
Day 5 Exercise Challenge – 25 Pushups *
Day 6 Exercise Challenge – 25 Squat Lunges*
Day 7 Rest! You deserve it!
If you are uncertain on how to do an exercise get with your captains as they will have a weblink to each
exercise.
Week One Weekly Team Challenge
Each team member in order to get the weekly team bonus points must all log every day and not go over
their target calories and log at least 64 oz. of water each day. If each team member does this all 6 days
your team will be awarded 5 Bonus Points.
*Feel free to do these exercises in sets if you are unable to do them all at one time. Please do your best
as you are much stronger than you believe.
Please note each week the exercises will increase in difficulty. This will push each team member.
Modifications will be provided for those who unable to complete the exercise as intended0 -
Any questions let me know. I hope I made the points system easy enough. Check your emails you should all have the forms, the excel sheet if you want to use it for team tracking and the point system. If not let me know. They were sent to your outside emails.0

just to confirm, the point system for the team challenge is the same as the daily challenge where for each member that, stays under calories and logs 64ozs of water, will receive 1 point each day it's completed...and at the end of the week if ALL tm's logged it for the 6 days, we are awarded 5 points????0 -

1. Can we send the weights 1st thing monday am? or does this have to be sunday night?
2. Does it matter which day team members do the exercises or in what order? Can someone take Monday off and start Day 1 on Tuesday for instance? Do the daily challenges have to be done in order or can they be mixed up?
3. We do not report the points from weight loss until the end of the month correct? We will simply submit our weekly totals from daily and weekly challenges?0 -

Agree... Was wondering about the days too, does it have to be Mon-Sat and rest on Sunday, or could someone's week be Tues-Sun and rest Mon etc? as long as they get everything in before close of challenge Sunday night?0 -
Gary - also on the team challenges - what about those that can't log in on the weekend because they don't have access to a computer and use their work computer?0

The way I understood it is
1 point per lb loss
1 point per person for each daily challenge (21 per day max 6 = 126) additional 5 point if the entire teams does each challenge every day = 131
1 point per person for each "weekly challenge" per day (20 per day max *6=126) and an additional 5 points if everyone completes this goal for the week = 131
So potential 262 points plus weight loss points. (which is option #1 right?)0 -
