I was 250 last year around this time. I currently weight a whopping 310 lbs. I promise myself I would never get this big. I am slowly trying to take back control of my health, spiritual health and mental health. I have a bet place with my mom by Oct 25,2017 I will have drop 15 pounds. I want to keep it. My goal is get to 130. I know it will take months and years of cutting down portions, working out and stay hydrated. My biggest issue is I used drink water alot. Since I had this anemia issue. I don't drink a lot. I know that's not good. I looking for advice and friends who can give me motivation to keep at my goals. I also have pcos which makes it harder to lose weight.

My goal by Oct 25,2017 - 295lbs

February 25, 2018 - 270lbs

July 25,2018
- 250lbs

December 26,2018 -220lbs

If you're new to MFP, read the sticky posts in the Success Stories section. You will find not just extra motivation, but also valuable information/education.

My biggest advice would be to not set time goals for your weight loss. It puts too much emphasis on the idea of getting to the end. "I want to weigh X by Y date." Who cares when you lose so long as you do lose and most importantly keep it off for good? Work on the way you're thinking about your future life not just in terms on the number on the scale but on the overall quality of that life.

Take whatever time it takes to learn to lose weight, maintain your goal weight and keep yourself healthy and happy overall for life.

Don't give up on reaching your goals. With time, you'll get the results you desire. I have lost 17 lbs so far by reducing intake of sodas, deep fried foods, & by also exercising a few times a wk.
