In one year of college I also got a little weight! And it also took me a long time to notice, I've been losing it and getting it back ever since. Hopefully this time will be the last!
I've been told that I should focus on strenght training (since I'm in a healthy BMI and I don't need to lose weight). I was doing a lot of cardio and eating at a calorie deficit but apparently this won't get me the results I want (get rid of this annoying thigh fat). I still eat at a calorie deficit though.
So if you want to lose fat, and not weight, you don't really need a calorie deficit I guess. But you still need to log in your food - read labels, weigh what you eat - so you know what you're taking in. And do strenght training
