Here I go. Today is the day. I am finally on side with a healthy eating program. Hopefully I can stick to it. I am short of breath even when I walk or talk. Not good at all. It's time. I am writing my feelings for the first time ever on social media. I am hoping this keeps me on track.

    Good luck! I'm in a similar situation, I've done MFP before but it never lasted more than a week. I started up again over a month ago and I'm still logging in daily (it becomes almost a game to me). My only advise is just to keep logging....who cares if you overeat one day, just keep logging in and learn from your decisions. The first 2 weeks was the hardest for me--had to break my desire to eat large quantities of snacks and large meal portions. Now I'm going on week 5 and I feel like I have a much better grasp of nutrition, which is more important to me than what the scale says.

    welcome you can do this. I've also got over 100lbs to lose. taking it one day at a time. Definitely finding it hard to change a habit of a lifetime but i feel better each day that i give it a try.

    Chek out the 100+ lbs to lose group, you might find it really helpful. Members maintain an "accountability thread" where we just talk about challenges and successes and our feelings about weight loss, it's really helpful for me at least.
