I was already on here before, I deleted that account.
I lost about 30 lbs but then was in school and working fulltime, I gained maybe 5 lbs. so nothing to worry about.. I just got really stressed and couldnt take any more,
Please feel free to add me as a friend.
Also, I was thinking of ordering the P90X system,
Any thoughts on this??
Success stories?
Thanks and Much Love

Welcome back!!
I love p90x......it's tough, but well worth it! I am doing the lean program and it seems to working for me. Yoga X is nothing to mess around with...that is a tough workout. I've been on it for 2-3 weeks now and it has made a difference already.
good luck!!

Hi, Shawna, and welcome back! I've been here since November, struggling to lose about 40 lbs. I'm down 15 so far using ChaLEAN Extreme. I'm done that program and beginning with 10 Minute Trainer for the beginning of August and then a hybrid of P90X and 10 Minute Trainer beginning the end of August. I'm just starting a 30-day Clean Eating Challenge on Monday with my best friend.
As for P90X, you have to be sure you are ready to do this. It's a serious program that has a big time commitment and a lot of hard work. There is a fitness test online at teambeachbody.com. I'm not sure if you have to be signed up as a team club member first or not. I'm a coach too, so that may be a part of it. If you want me to, I can look up the fitness test online & email it to you separately. That's what they expect you to be able to do BEFORE doing P90X. If you're not ready for that program yet, you can start with any of the other beachbody programs. I LOVED ChaLEAN Extreme -- it's a 90-day program, too, with a focus on weightlifting. Slim in 6 is supposed to be really good, too, and it's a 6-week program. I think you need to really KNOW yourself as to what your current fitness level is, your ability to commit, and your time commitment daily.
Feel free to add me as a friend, and try not to stress about it -- it's a marathon, not a sprint! Good luck!0 -
Hey Shawna,
I have done P90, P90x and Insanity and they are all very intense programs. But the results are well worth it. But I agree that you have to make sure that you pick the right program that fits you. There are so many great programs that beachbody has to offer and whats great is that I know there is one that will fit you and your lifestyle. If P90x is the one for you than that is awesome. I love it ! I know many people that are doing Insanity and are crazy about it. I liked it but I had a blown disk several years ago and all the jumping did not do well for me. Feel free to friend me here and also on Facebook if there is anything I can do to encourage you. http://www.facebook.com/tomgrundy2

Hi, I've done P90X and INSANITY, I loved them both. When I first started P90X I couldn't do "regular pushups". I was only able to do "girl pushups"...and not very many. Now I can pound out at least 30 regular pushups before starting to sweat. (i started these programs 6 months ago). I can do the workouts without feeling overwhelmed. I've lost weight and lots of inches so I'd say I've had some pretty good success. I went from a size 14 to a size 6/8. I'm not done by any means, but I feel good. Hope you find something you can do but you have to remember You have to stick with it and NUTRITION is a big part of success.0
