Exercising with kids

I thought it would be fun to add in some extra time with my kids by doing my warm-up exercises with them. But the stuff i do would probly burn them out quickly or they would be uninterested. Any of yall have any good cardio/exercises that your kids enjoy doing with you?

I bought my kids those little 2 pound weights. My 4 and 6 year old take turns lifting them beside me. Its adorable. Just this morning my 6 year old was running in place. She has a kids smart watch and she won a bunny award for running in place so fast. They sort of just watch and try and join along. I figure as they get older we can do more together1

I have a 1,3,4, and 7 year old and they love doing stretching and exercise! If you want them to get involved and enjoy it most kids love "being in charge." Teach them some basics from the stuff you like to do then have them "teach" you! Dance exercise is always fun! I also throw in a little martial Arts as long as they understand not to do it on other kids! Letting them choose things makes them more interested and usually for a much longer period of time! Have fun!!1

Cardio is tough for my kids and they lose interest (I honestly don't blame them in the least), but they like yoga and martial arts exercises. I know some moms who do kid-friendly yoga videos on YouTube. Dance can be fun, too. I like belly dance. I can see my daughter getting into that when she's older, although probably not my sons!1

I hike with my kiddos
My son i carry on my back ( hes 18 months )
My daughters 12 so can manage a fair distance now but when she was younger we did shorter hikes with lots of stops1 -
I used to do the Wii "Let's Dance" with my younger son, and he's done some aerobics with me. He drew the line at zumba, unfortunately!1

we do Zumba routines from Youtube on the TV, they are short 4 minute exercise routines, and you can do as little or as many as you want, but Just Dance on the Wii has us battling it out and adds a bit more competition with the star levels. We Even make it funny by picking each others songs, so he tries to pick the hardest ones for me, and I pick the most embarrassing ones for him. We end up giggling the whole time. I always enjoy bike riding with my littles too. It always amazes me how good they are at navigating, and they are pretty fast on their little legs. lol1
