40 pounds to lose!

Hi,
I am 40 lbs overweight. I want a little motivation here. Goal is to eat healthy daily, walk 30-60 minutes daily, and report your weight on a weekly basis... maybe every Friday. Please feel free to join me.
Starting Weight: 185
Next weight check is on: August 18th

    Hi my name is Hilde, I also need to take off 40 lbs. my starting weight was 189 and today I weighed in at 181 so hopefully it is a start, hope we can lick this together , I am rooting for you.

    Don't forget. This Friday is weight check day.
    Planning to walk 3 miles a day daily after dinner and keeping my calorie intake under 1400.
    How are you guys planning to lose 40 pounds?

    Hi,
    Add me please I have 40lbs to loose and I need motivation :) my starting weight is 165 I lost 5lbs so far so am 160 right now. I do cardio or jogging more than 30 min a day and I try to eat healthy and less than 1600kcl a day.

    Hey all! I'm also looking to lose around 40. Started at 178 and now at 172.6. My calorie goal is around 1670 a day and trying to fill that with healthy options and incorporating more activity in my day. I weigh on Fridays anyways so would be happy to join for extra motivation!

    Ok I could not walk 3 miles today. I walked only a mile after dinner.

    One mile is much better than zero! I got some extra steps in from shopping today to prepare for an upcoming trip but haven't made it to the gym or an official workout in far too long. Food has been ok so far this week though so trying to focus on keeping that up!

    Forgot to post last week, but went up half a pound. Sigh. Hoping it was just water weight and to have a big loss this week before going on vacation!
