Hello, I'm Erica, and very new. I'm hoping that this will help me find structure, and keep me motivated enough to stick to my goals. I'd like to lose weight, but really I just want to feel better. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease a few years ago, and I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. The disease causes fatigue and weight gain, and I feel like I'm on a merry go round that I can't get off. The fatigue makes it difficult to exercise, which makes the weight gain worse, which makes the fatigue worse, anyway you get the idea. I know that what I eat is just as important as how much, so I am embarking on a clean eating journey. I've set myself some small goals, like walking around my block for a few minutes before work, cutting out sugar and processed foods, and getting more sleep. I hope this will be the start of better health, and a little weight lose along the way.

Thanks susanayt97, I totally agree processed foods are the worst, but also tasty let's add each other so we can encourage each other to eat healthy.

Have you tried pre workout? Not sure if you can have it with your disease but it gives you energy and focus. It really helps me on days I'm not motivated to go to the gym.0

I googled it, it's really not for me. Supplements that boost energy have a boomerang effect on me, and I end up more fatigued then if I hadn't taken them.
