So you guys , I really suck at the whole dieting thing . Im from the south so there is nothing but Home mad cooking like Grandma's . Can you please inform me on any healthy recipes that I can enjoy

To lose weight, you have to consistently take in fewer calories than you burn. MFP should already have given you a calorie goal to hit. If you log correctly and hit it every day, over time, you lose weight.
A healthy diet is made up of a variety of foods from all the food groups. You can eat anything you like. What do you like? You can google recipes or ask for specific recipes. (Edited after thread was moved.)2 -
You can try using low fat and sodium chicken broth in cooking instead of butter and seasoning meats. The broth trick work well when cooking grits. Use lean cuts of meat like pork tenderloin instead of pork butt. Try cauliflower mash as a substitute for mashed potatoes. Try cauliflower finely chopped for a rice substitute. It does not taste the same but tasty. Try roasting veggies in the oven instead of smothering them down with meat. Try using a dry oven roux with little to no oil instead of a traditional roux. What statagy are you using for weight loss? For instance you can cut calories, carbohydrates or fat. Then you can google recipes for that weight loss program. I'm in the south also. So I know it's all breaded and fried. Good luck0
