I have been taking Vitamins the size of horse pills since I was about 5. (thank you DAD because you I can probably swallow an ice cube and not be fazed lol) I have never had a problem. The new vitamins I bought are the most discusting things I have ever swallowed. They taste like Tylonel and moldy vitamins and the taste doesnt go away after you drink something, it lingers!!!!! Sorry I had to vent :blushing:

maybe there is something wrong with them. You should take them back to the store so you don't get sick! :embarassed:

I agree. They may be moldy. Or just bad vitamins, I would toss them and try a different brand.

Well I have been taking them for a while and have not gotten sick. I got a few bottles for the house. They all smell like that. I really think it's the brand.

  • Yeah I thought this was going to be about listening to Rancid when working out.... I used to do that back in my more fit days lol... but I can totally relate to the horrid taste of some vitamins.

can you tell us and save us from buying those? I usually get the multis from Wal-mart, their brand, but I do not want to be stuck with nasty ones

I've had vitamins that stink :blushing: and I could barely stand to take them..so I think you're right it's probably that particular brand and not so much anything wrong with the pills....well, ah accept they stink and taste nasty:blushing: :noway:

What I do when I take pills might sound a bit strange but I take a swig of water first, then toss the pills down all at once and immediately swallow some more water.... best way I've found for myself to not taste any of them and not have them stick in my throat. As we have probably all experienced that nasty nasty taste when they feel stuck in your throat.

Well, here's to finding a new way to swallow them until you finish out that brand. If they are cheap enough price wise, you could consider tossing them. It's a bit harder to do when one buys the pricey ones.:noway:

    wait, WHAT?

Sorry, still reeling from the ice cube comment. :blushing:

anyway, can you maybe grind them up and put them in something
like peanut butter? something that has a strong enough taste to
    cover it.

Or you can try sticking them in a bit of jello and swallowing the jello.
That will keep the taste from getting to you.
