What's your daily calorie intake goal? Mines 1710. Im 18, 6.1 feet. And weigh 165lbs.

    2200-2500 NET calories.

    If I work, but I don't workout - I aim for 2200. If I don't work, but I workout - I aim for 2350. If I work AND I workout - I aim for 2500.

    Yes, I know it is a lot of calories - but it works for me. I'm happily maintaining my 145lbs with that range. I can lose more if I up it more (but I hate the way I feel when I try and eat MORE). I gain weight (slowly) if I lower it below 2200.

    My goal is 1200. But I usually net around 800, which is half my BMR and the number below which I will go into starvation mode. Yes I have researched. It is truly improbable that EVERYONE'S starvation mode number is the same.

    Mine is 1623, but I went through metabolic testing to get my exact number. MFP was about 200 calories under what I was supposed to be eating. I can tell the difference since I adjusted. :-)

    Dear d12 i feel like discussing an issue with you. my goal is 1200 calories to lose 2.5 pounds a week. when i started curtailing my calories i lost 1 kg in the first week, while in the second week my weight increased by 1 kg. i consume almost 1200-1400 calories but burn 650-700 by walking, which means that my net daily calories range from 500-700 instead of 1200. i wonder if my body has entered the starvation mode or wot. its highly demotivating and i am really worried about it.

    I take my BMR (you can calculate it on this site) and divide by 2. I make sure I always NET at least this number. I lose about 1.4 lbs a week, which is pretty good since I am close to being in my ideal weight range.

    Mine is 1880. I weigh 300 lbs right now and I led a pretty sedentary lifestyle. I am working to incorporate at least 2 days of exercise.

    1670. but i usually reach about 1300-1500. im on maintenance. i should be eating more but i find it hard sometimes.

    1800 - 147 lbs.right now because I'm training hard to build muscle and tone.

    I usually can't eat that much espcially when I add the bonus exercise calories.

    I've got no problem on heavy strength training and cardio days when I', famished!

    I expect my calorie goal for maintanence once I reach my target weight of 130lbs will be around 1500.
