NSV that opened my eyes!

This is probably nothing special to most, but it was a huge eye opener for me.
Like most people i cant really see a change due to my weight loss, as I wear sweatpants 99.99% of the time since giving up my job to look after my wife. If i pull them out like they do in weight loss adverts, id just think "Oh, its because its elasticated, or im holding my stomach in more than i did" etc etc.
Today, i found my old work trousers. With the button. No elastic. So i thought "hmmm, shall i? This could be pretty depressing if theyre still really tight like they were when i ended my job."
I put them on, done them up.
They fell down straight away! I really could do like they do in the adverts, with my fixed waist trousers!!! I can get both arms in there too now! Even pulling my trousers up from where i normally wear them, under my sticky out stomach, to the widest part, and pushing my belly out as far as i could, they still fall down!
Its the first real sign ive had of just how much ive lost around my middle!
And it came two days after ive torn my rotator cuff, so i needed the extra motivation at this time
Anyway...just wanted to share that with....someone

So do i. Ive had this rotator cuff injury before, but back then it wasn't too bad as that was when all it did was made me eat my tons of unhealthy snacks with my other hand.
Now, however, i cant do my usual badminton 4 times a week, or my circuit training, or my bowling, or my dancing.
Cant run on the treadmill, cant do any upper body weights....its really gonna screw over my current lifestyle
The only thing i can really do is walk, so i foresee lots more 2/4 mile dogwalks over my local country park in the coming weeks...
I wonder if its just my body's way of telling me to ease off on all the shoulder-using stuff ive been doing?0 -
Most excellent job!
Keep up the good work.
