Hey guys,
University is starting up soon for me so I decided this semester I wanted to officially get to my goal weight of 120lbs!! That gives me from September-December to lose 35lbs!! Is anyone else in??

Sounds cool! (pun intended) I'd like to lose 20 lbs by my sister's wedding which is in December. That would put me at about 175 lbs. I'm in!2

I'm in. Trying to drop +/- 12 lbs before Christmas. Should be a reasonable goal!

Hi everybody! How's it going for you? Don't forget to post and let us know!
I'm feeling pretty good this week- had 3 hard workouts with rest days in between - cardio everyday due to the fact that I have 3 german shepherds to walk. I've been making sure I drink lots of water as well; that alone makes me feel so much better.

23 Aug: 197.6 lbs = So happy!
I've decided to weigh myself everyday to get an idea of how my weight fluctuates. Have a suggestion of how long to do this - I was thinking maybe 2 weeks but is that long enough? Also does anyone have some ideas for getting more protein without getting to many more carbs or fat? I'm having trouble meeting my macro-nutrients goals everyday -esp. the protein.5 -
Thank you everyone for sharing a little about your journey! Im sorry I didnt check this post sooner. I am 53 and I am losing weight to get to a pre-surgery weight goal for gastric sleeve surgery. Ive lost about 10 lbs. I have 5 more to lose, but actually 10 would be better bc my scale never matches the doctor's scale. I was eaying low carb and watching calories, but Im trying to do something similar to Atkins now and see if my body agrees with it. I am due to have the surgery on October 17th. I must reach my weightloss goal by October 2nd to keep that date. I am using the Empire Plan and Im in Albany, NY area. St.Peters Hospital is where Ill have it done. Please link up with some new friends from these posts and keep us updated on whats hsppening. Best to each of you.
Question: If weightloss makes us physically feel so much better what do you think is the obstacle keeping us from maintaining it?

I'm curious, what is everyone doing for exercise this week? I'm doing Ellen Barrett's Bikini Ready Fast dvd 3x alternating days with I'm not sure what. Any suggestions? The dvd is kind of cardio and strength training combined. I also walk approx. 5 miles a day - 6 days a week. Maybe I should try yoga on the off days?0
