How are you stocking up on healthy food? Are you evacuating? Do you think it will be like Alison 2001?

I'm in Houston so not the path but expecting flooding for sure. We have water and food stored in case of power going out. I lost my home and all belongings to hurricane Ike but that one came straight at us. Hope everyone stays safe! I'm hoping we keep our power

I heard many counties have issued evacuation notices and many are heading north. Also that some areas will get 35" of rain over the next few days

I'm not in that part of Texas, but two of my LifeGroup's members are. I'm praying hard for them this week.

I hope my fellow Houstonians/Texans are safe and dry!

I live in Sugar Land, a Houston suburb, and am near the Brazos River in a master planned community that is protected by levees. Last year, the river reached record levels and the levees worked, but we are expecting the river to be even higher before this is over!

Other people are really suffering though so we've been really fortunate so far. Any prayers are appreciated!

Are you near the levees that have the mandatory evacuation by Monday morning?

How did you and your family make out? Any flooding. We were find but my daughter and her kids had to be rescued by boat on Tuesday.
