Very embarrassing question?

Does sex count as exercise?
It's may be wishful thinking, but there are occasional (ok regular) weekends when I have far too many delicious yet super fattening cocktails....pina colada I'm looking at you......and I shudder to think about the calories consumed. The only upside is that the more drunk I get the more I think I'm Beyoncé and start dancing and grinding which I feel in my legs/thighs the next day. Also if I get freaky with the bf does that not count? Like sustained, being out of breath, feeling your muscles working, for like an hour or something....must count at least a little? I was quite surprised that it wasn't an option on the exercise portion of mfp.
What do you think?

Doesn't count. It's accounted for in your daily activity level even if you are set to sedentary. You could bank calories throughout the week to "afford" pina colada calorically, or drink something that is lower in calories. Harder drinks will get you the buzz in fewer calories if that's what you are after.0

It's really hard as nowhere has the calorie content of cocktails so it's all guestimation. Think I'll switch to gin. I was hoping someone would reply with yeah yeah it burns like 2000 calories so cocktails are totally fine lol. Wishful thinking1

If you just want to log some exercise so your diary doesn't look so bad with the thousands of calorie cocktails then do it... your body and the scales will show whats actually happening!4

Well, I think there is no real answer.
Yes, sex is definitely an exhausting activity and you can easily burn a few calories with it, a few studies show that you can easily burn from 100 to 600 calories doing it.
But how would MFP count them ? Like any other activities, you need to get some basics information on what have been done, for how long, and a base cal/min to estimate the calories burned.
Two couples having sex do not have the same rythm and activities, thus burning more/less calories.
You could try to estimate it, but results could be really different from reality as there is (I think) no trusted base cal/min, and like speed and incline change the cal/min while walking, biking etc, speed and position would change a lot of things.
You could try to add a custom activity for each sub-activity, but you will also need to estimate or measure how long you did it.
I personally cannot see myself count those calories and how long I did have sex, that would really kill the whole moment for me...2 -

Sadly I've had to cut the super yummy sugary drinks except for special occasions. It's very hard to make them fit into my calorie goals. I usually stick to light beer, red wine, or mixed drinks with diet soda.0

If it makes you burn 500 calories for her to achieve this, then you need to up your game. This i say by expert experience7
