What do you guys make for lunch and dinner? i feel like i keep making the same meals over and over again. i prefer eating chicken and beef, i stay away from fish and pork for the most part. also i cook for my bf who is not on a diet and likes to eat crap like grilled cheese and steakwiches for lunch most days. I stay away from that but its hard. also im very broke right now so my food budget is small. its about $100 per month for 2 people.

any inexpensive ideas for meals would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

    Breakfast: Oatmeal, fruit
Lunch: loaf of wheat bread and turkey breast, lettuce for salad, boxes of pasta

    Just a few cheap ideas.

I really like "Mustard-Crusted Chicken"- you basically just take a chicken breast and coat it with whole grain mustard (one small jar of mustard will last five or six meals), and then put it on a heated skillet and cook it. I use olive oil to cook it in and when you take that into account, its a little over 300 cal for one chicken breast. It turns out really flavorful and my boyfriend loves it too =) Good luck!

I workout in the morning when I wake up so after that I have a slim fast shake. With water, less cals! Then all bran or oats for breakfast. Lunch, salad or chicken or turkey sandwich. Then 2 small snacks in the afternoon before dinner. Humous with pitta bread, crackerbread or carrots to dip. Oh and fruit as well. Dinner, whatever really! Had a chicken korma the other night (sauce out of a jar) small portion though. Or Spag bol. Ooh chilli con carne! Sweet potatoes are good too. Then little something before bed. A yogurt or a small tub of rice pudding
