The metabolism claim is bunk.
Eat your oils and fats in moderation or eat 2 TBSP a day, doesn't really matter. For weight-loss it's about calories, so log it.
Sat fat - I use butter and eat cheese and eggs and fatty meat like bacon and beef. I've been at a healthy weight for a decade. If your doctor tells you to eat it moderately that's one thing, but most people are fine with Sat fat. I use coconut oil. I like the flavor.2 -

No, it's not true. And if the 2 tbs. coconut oil (which is pretty calorie dense) puts you over your calorie limit for the day you will gain.0 -
Coconut oil is high in natural saturated fats. Saturated fats not only increase the healthy cholesterol (known as HDL cholesterol) in your body, but also help convert the LDL “bad” cholesterol into good cholesterols.--I googled it.1

That is total BS. Use the coconut oil if you like it. Anything too much can be dangerous. Use in moderation.2

Lol...no...2 tbsp of coconut oil is going to be about 240 calories...I can think of much better ways to consume 240 calories...
Most of what you're hearing and reading is misrepresentation or misunderstanding. Coconut oil consists substantially of medium chain triglycerides which are easier to metabolize and harder to store as fat...but in the end, it doesn't really matter because you aren't going to have net fat storage if you're in a calorie deficit...2 -

No.
And even if were to raise it a minuscule amount, it wouldn't come remotely close to offsetting the ~200 calories you just wasted eating spoonfuls of oil.
I can think of much more enjoyable ways to waste ~200 calories. Like cookies.1 -
I like to cook my rice with coconut oil...and make chocolate out of it...I think eating it plain sounds icky...1

I use one tablespoon while cooking eggs or most things pan fried. Its a great medium heat oil to use on the stove. They also have avocado oil that is great to use. I like both better then evoo.1
