I have cellulite really bad all over my body....arms, tummy ,sides , legs but especially above my knees. So much so that I won't wear shorts or dresses knee-length or above. Does it ever go away and what would u recommend to help reduce it a bit .

Yes it can go away. I found strength training has worked best for me as well as maintaining a healthy weight.3

Cellulite can be improved with weight loss and strength training, but it is genetic, so there is a good chance you will always have it no matter what, unfortunately. Even at my leanest, I have it.6

It's just a thing that most people have to some degree. It will never fully go away. Excess weight can make it look more pronounced so if you are overweight then losing weight may help.5

I am about 21 pounds over weight0

Add some lean mass to your frame, reduce overall body fat. You should see an improvement.
Even super lean fit people have it. There are no creams to get rid of it.
All we can do is accept that we are normal. Work on improving it but accept that its normal.
Enjoy life while you can. I never wore shorts until 3 years ago, I wish I had worn them sooner instead of being hot al the dern time!7 -
Remember that: There are no creams to cure it. Don't fall for the internet "scams". Have you tried that Jergens tanning lotion? It can help "hide" the marks so you can wear those shorts.3

I've had cellulite on my legs and butt since puberty. I'll always have some. I have found that strength training is the only things that has worked to reduce it at all though5

I've got a lot on my legs above the knees, too. Ugh, my thighs! If you've got pale skin like me, I found that Jergen's Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer kind of evens out the appearance of it. But it hasn't gone away for me, despite running and some strengething exercises over the last three months. My 80 year old mom is trim but has a lot, too, so I'm certainly genetically predisposed to cellulite. I wear capris and longer shorts during the summer, but I've started wearing shorter skirts and dresses because as I'm getting more in shape I'm gaining confidence in my body. If people are turned off by seeing my legs, screw them!5

I've done a lot of research on cellulite. I developed it after going on birth control. Personally I believe it's hormonally related-specifically estrogen/ estrogen dominance
I think that strength training works to reduce it by increasing testosterone.
Losing body fat will decrease estrogen in the body as fat cells produce estrogen.
I have started to use a progesterone cream on the area and will update with my progress. I'm also avoiding dairy and soy.
I find that gaining body fat, drinking coffee, alcohol and dehydration makes it look worse.
An increase in soy products in my diet seemed to correlate to my cellist getting worse. I'm an hourglass shape BTW with naturally high levels of estrogen.3 -
That's interesting as I think mine got worse after going on the birth control pill.1

Look up the Fascia Blaster by Ashley Black. She's all over Facebook and has been on the news and morning shows, etc.5

It certainly improves when I have more muscle mass, but I had cellulite even when I was underweight. No reason not to wear what you like; anyone who would judge you for it is someone whose opinion shouldn't matter.3

Mine disappears when I strength train regularly.0

I think mine did too. I noticed that recently it has become worse and wonder if that's the cause. Hmmm PMS or cellulite - I have to choose one...0
