Back at it again...

Hey all. I lost all motivation and drive and gained back the 22lbs I lost. Now I'm starting over. I have 105 lbs to lose and I hope this time I stick it out and push for what I want.

The words you are using seem to indicate that your plan has been to whiteknuckle through weightloss, just looking forward to be done with it, without knowing what you were doing, is that right? This time, you're better prepared - you can make a plan you know you can stick to and don't need extrinsic motivation for. All you have to do is eat a little less and move a little more. MFP helps you keep track. You can do it!

Agreed. It was a chore. I started going back to the gym to reduce stress and realized "wow, I've got this". So I have a different perspective. :)

This time don't look at it as a diet. This isn't something you do and then are done with. It's a new way of life. Make exercise and good choices when it comes to food a regular life-long habit and you'll not only lose the weight in time, but you'll keep it off. The only thing that should happen when you reach your goal weight is that you can eat at your TDEE level. The exercise you used to get there should not stop. I think that's the hardest thing for some people to get through their heads. Don't rush it, adopt a new lifestyle, this shouldn't just be a 'diet'. Just my .02.
