The strangest thing you make.

In the hunt for that elusive calorie goal I tend to make up some wacky combos for my meals. 100 calories here 50 there. The food items themselves are not always what you might call...a meal but they are somewhat compatible. This often happens when I am home alone and hungry for dinner but not wanting to make anything that takes longer than 5 min. aka I forgot to defrost the chicken or fish. Sometimes I am a little weird-ed out by some of the combos I come up with. Last night it was tuna and cream of wheat or waffles with turkey and hummus.

So in your pursuit of fitness and healthy eating what are some things you threw together that no one would really think to eat but you?

    For some reason, Turkey and Cream of wheat sounds good... It's kind of like grits and spam.

    smashed banana in a wheat pita or tortilla

    I like throwing together brown rice, honey dijon dressing, and chicken. Not sure if thats really weird but it goes together pretty good for a meal.
