It is long, it is funny and it sums up lots of the debates here, about the "best" diet and whether what you eat matters

Of all the biscuits (cookies to you) I would use my calories on, Oreos are rarely my choice. We do biscuits really really well in the UK. I'd be perfectly happy if I never ate an Oreo again.
Sorry.
Not sorry.4 -

Been reading this guys site since yesterday, it's amazing! Thanks! So much good information and simplified very well. Example:
– Carbohydrate intake: the number of carbs you’re consuming will affect scale weight. Remember, 1 gram of carbohydrate comes along with 3g of water. This is why when people go on a low-carb, or ketogenic diet, they see rapid weight loss (not fat loss) initially as the body drops water. Inversely, if you’re ending a period of low-carb or ketogenic dieting, you can expect your weight on the scale to go up.
Very interesting stuff.

Is it 1 gram of carbs, or 1 gram of glycogen? I know 1 gram of glycogen >> 3-4 grams of water but I don't think the same ratio holds true for carbs (but I could be wrong).
Can you show where the blog has 1 g carbs >> water?0 -
I will share this with all my friends doing Woo diets they never listen to me they say "oh I lost 10lbs in a week with ____" a month later "I'm starting again on my ___" I'm like I lose 1lbs almost every week and I'm eating cake.3

"It's not as simple as CICO because CI and CO can be affected."
I never understood that argument.1 -
Great site! I am still reading through some of the linked stuff. The thing I will note is that people who lose on fad diets seem to think that since that diet worked, that is the only diet that works. Not true. Also many of the studies for specific ways of eating (low carb, low fat, etc) are only looking at that way of eating. So proving that it works doesn't prove that other ways don't.0
