you might lose a bit, but you cant do much about bone structure and genetics.

    Oh no

It really depends on how much weight you are carrying up top. I have very broad shoulders (I actually like them) and I don't feel fat up top, but when Iost weight, I definitely dropped a blouse size as the fit got much roomier through the shoulders and upper arms.

Yeah, it's definitely possible to shed fat and look smaller; it depends how much extra fat your shoulders are carrying.

When you lose fat from your upper arms, your shoulders will look better even if they aren't smaller.

Can't change your bones. Some people think that frame size is a ridiculous metric for determining a healthy weight, but when you're carrying broad shoulders (in my case, I'm doomed with broad shoulders and my grandfather's Germanic genes and ribcage) and a broader frame, it is a reality that you need to consider.

On the upside/downside, it also means that you may be able to look slimmer at a heavier weight because the weight is stretched over a broader structure.

Yesss that's the thing . I barely look obese. I'm just large so when I stand beside a girl my half of my shoulder cover the girls body.

I did...I have naturally broad shoulders, but I did lose some size when I lost weight...they're still broad shoulders though.

Your body structure is your body structure. That being said, if you are significantly overweight, as you lose fat you will find that you lose it all over. I lost about #50 and when all was said and done, my shoulders were a lot smaller. I discovered bone structure  and clothing size changes confirmed loss of fat in upper body as well as lower. I was amazed comparing photos of myself at different events wearing sleeveless dresses.

I don't have much fat right on my shoulders, but I do on my arms, chest and back right around them. As that fat disappears my shoulders have gotten narrower. Not the bones, but my arms lie flatter against my body and my posture is better so my shoulders still take up less space.

this depends a lot on where you are genetically predisposed to hold body fat and how broad your actual chest breadth is.

Essentially, you can lose some of the fat in this area (if that's whats actually causing that problem) but it won't make much of a difference if the real issue is you just have broad shoulders.

Why does our legs go like that? Like It goes inside

Broad shoulders and fit arms are an awesome look. I've been trying to increase my shoulders to balance out my large butt.

    Not really!

Embrace it--broad shoulders make your clothing hang well. I love wearing dresses and they look great with strong, straight shoulders that do not slope.

    Nope.

I have big shoulders too, and my solution was to do more shoulder exercises to make them look nice, while being broad. Lol

Those images are taken when the person was lying down...do you mean his toes turning inward? Or something else?

Honestly, it is truly funny you ask this, but cause in all honesty, this was the first thing i seemed to notice, and my 10 yr old son pointed out,to where I even had him take a picture of me,because after losing 10 lbs and working out to a Jillian Michaels Beginner Body Shred for 2weeks, I seemed alot less broad shouldered. I dont know how or why or what, but I think somehow my shouders width slimmed. At least thsts how many of my pics looked. I have always hated my arms especially in pictures, even selfies, but my pics dont show very big arms, granted they are still big but they just seem different, leaner, I guess , I lift 5 lb dumbells in each hand during Jillian's workout. Anyway that's just my experience. I know exactly how you feel girl.

I did, a lot of shirts I would still wear with the looseness around the torso just don't work at all because my shoulders are so much narrower.

I've lost 16# and my shoulders lost noticeably. I know because my shirts were getting tight and now they're not. You'll lose weight all over. I also do push-ups and hand weights to keep toned.

After losing 95 lbs in 2 years, I honestly thought I'd never get below a size large shirt because of my broad shoulders. This was way down from a 2Xl so I was actually quite pleased.

I lost 20 lbs since then, and to my utter shock and amazement I'm now wearing size SMALL shirts. Yes, small. With broad shoulders. It is utterly inconcievable to me (yes that word means what I think it means).

I have wide shoulders as well. I always thought I had a wide pelvis. And honestly I do, but lots of it was padding. Now my shoulders are wider than my hips, which is ok as it gives me a slim waist look in a (like what someone wrote up there) Germanic wide frame. Nothing you can do about it other than cutting off some bone. But curvy is cool!

My shoulders are broad and I'm ok with it. I'm looking forward to narrower hips.

I always thought, and was told as well, that i had large frame. I was overweight to various degrees my whole life. I lost 75 ish lbs, and now i look slim, shirt size down to small, from xl and 2xl. My shoulders are wider than my hips now, with nice waist. I can't wear any of my old shirts, my body is just lost in them, but i couldn't be happier. So once you lose all the extra padding, you will slim down and that will include your shoulders

I have a large frame, have always liked tall guys, and am now engaged to someone a foot taller than I am.

The size of other women was never a thing for me. (Not judging you, just sharing my experience.)
