So i am a Veteran and while in the service i kept myself lean and worked to strive where i needed to be. After getting out of the military i stopped and put on a lot of weight. I went from 195 to 229 quickly. Last week I saw a picture of myself with my 2 daughters when we were at a restaurant. I had such a glow about me at this time that i sat wondering what happened to that person. Therefore last week i decided im going to get back into the best shape of my life. My work at times is very demanding as im an electrician. I dont want to run when im done working and dont have energy to do pushup or sit ups right now. So i am starting with the lifestyle change of eating. After doing a ton of reading, I decided that it wouldn't be hard to try the Ketogenic diet and therefore that is what I'm doing. I started Tuesday (8-29) and as of this morning i have went from 229.6 to 225.8. I still have a way to go as i have a lot of body fat that I would love to melt and get lean. Hope to find friends here to help me along that Journey.

You will be amazed at how much diet plays a part in your health, more than exercise. In my opinion the keto diet is the way to go.

Hi there! I've been researching the Keto diet as well as I've already eliminated sugar - now just a few more to control. It seems an "easier" one than others, just my opinion so far. So Im with you in trying it.

I have been researching different healthy ways to loose weight and the keto diet seems the best fit for me. Officially starting on Monday. I have a long road ahead 60 + lbs for optimal body weight.
