Depressed and frustrated

I'm a new mom to a beautiful baby girl who is now 10 months old. I used to be so pro active about going to the gym and eating healthy. Now, i barely have time to brush my teeth let alone go to the gym. I have slowly seen my weight go up and up and up, which makes me more depressed, self conscious, and less motivated. I have always wanted to compete in a bikini fitness competition, but now I don't know how I will ever accomplish my goal. Being a full-time working mom is tough. :'(

    Hi bmparish, don't stress yourself over the weight, you're still a new mom with baby weight that takes some effort and time to lose. But you should check that you don't suffer from postpartum depression after having the baby . Also surround yourself with positive people and positive energy all will be will. I'm a mom of 4 kids and a student with no time dedicated specifically for a gym or even regular excersie. Signing here motivates me to lower my calories, count my steps and different daily activities that helpe me in counting what I eat.
