Hello,
Are you keen to lose weight, despite having a pituitary tumour which impacts on your hormone levels and makes weight gain easy?
We can support each other, to reduce our weight when the odds seem stacked against us. Add me as a friend to make the weight loss journey less of a battle.

    Hello,

I was diagnosed with a benign tumor last year on my pituitary gland. I've been on Cabergoline for a year the tumor shrank slightly but still requires me to be on the meds this year. For 9 years I have not had a period until last year I was properly diagnosed.

I have not had an issue with losing weight. I lost 15 lbs and 7% (39% to 32%) of my body fat. I did gain 6 lbs but that was completely me eating and enjoying the Summer. It had nothing to do with my tumor or hormones. I believe in CICO (calories In calories Out) which works for me. I also lift a LOT of weights. With the loss of hormones it caused me to have Osteopenia (a little bone loss in both hips).

You can add me if you like.
