Hi guys... I need not to say that taking 10,000 steps daily is great for weight loss!
On an average 100 steps are taken by a person walking briskly in a minute in accordance with this an average of 100 minutes walk is important.

I'm gonna start and will love to have company to stay motivated. Also this is an open challenge everyone is welcome :)

I just came home from my one hour walk. Unfortunately I forgot to turn on my step counter so some of my steps were not counted.

Of course it is! Also maybe you can give us tips on how to increase our step count too :p since I'm a beginner 10000 is enough of a target for me :D

When I first started walking back in June, I was doing good if I got 8,000 steps. That was the default target for Fitbit. Sometime in July, I changed that to 10,000. I usually do more that that a day. At work, I always find ways to walk. I work in a grocery store. Some days, it's very easy. Other days, I have to be creative. I get up early each morning and go walking. Most mornings, I put in anyway where between 7,000 to 10,000 steps before heading to work.

As for tips... One step forward, then do it again. That's all anyone can do. If you can't do it in one outing, break it down into two or three. My days off, I do that.
